About this rug,

In very good condition, this central Anatolian rug has an impressive medallion and an eye catching maroon field. Due to the village it was made in this rug is called a 'Taspinar rug'. An uncommon size for its region; rugs from this region are generally wider. The blue in the corner brackets are a dark cerulean and they are embellished with flowers as we see in Taspinar rugs. Guards borders have small lines at nearly a 45 degree angle and between them there are 'S' like figures which are called hooks. The main border consists of flower like embellishments as we see on many Taspinar rugs on an olive background and it is surrounded by two lines of flower figures on a sapphire blue.

Colors: maroon, dark cerulean, dark olive, asparagus, seashell, cinnamon. Our photos are taken in natural filtered light and there is very little to no color editing on photos. The very little editing is done to reflect the truecolors of the rug.
